Warm breath on my ear,
slow rythmic breathing,
soft tickle of her hair,
tender heart beating.
Warm, slow, soft, tender,
waking up alone together,
nothing better.

I am
we once stood tall, without a fear,
trusting, loving with all our heart,
then someone made us shed a tear,
ripping our esteem all apart.
Why do they do that, make us hurt
because their hurting too, dont you see.
Their remarks may be curt,
but it is about thier feelings, not you or me.
Stand tall, right now,
take a breath, deep and long,
bend right over and take a bow,
let out your breath and sing a song.
Celebrate who you are,
Not who others wish you to be,
the world grows inside not from afar,
take your cues from within, without the negativity
Every day afirm this vow,
I am smart, I am proud,
That is who I am now,
with these words dispell the cloud.
I am peace
I am love
I am giving
I am sharing
I am caring
I am whole
I am good enough, wait no, I am better than good enough,
I am great
I am kind
I am happy
I am exactly the kind of person I wish to be
I am glorious
I am amazing
I am funny
I am important
I am meaningful
I am me, and that is exactly who I want to be
I am powerful
I am strong
I am Beautiful, through and through
I am I am I am
Repeat these words every day
Let them settle in your heart
begin to seek, to find your way
because living is precious art.

Tending the garden
With tender care,
I touch the flower.
The blossom growing there,
expressing loves gentle shower.
I trim the bad,
and cherish the good.
Embrace the sad,
as one should.
And as you grow,
I am there for you.
I reap what you sow,
a treasure true.
I feed your needs,
and give you light.
your glowing reeds,
Oh what a sight.
I tend to the garden,
The garden of our love.
I need no parden,
your the hand to my glove.
I touch the flower.
The blossom growing there,
expressing loves gentle shower.
I trim the bad,
and cherish the good.
Embrace the sad,
as one should.
And as you grow,
I am there for you.

Darkness
Despair has me in her grip,
And I shall not shall not slip,
though on a sinking ship,
and yet I will ride out this trip.
Useless, toiling, strangled,
my mind is oh so tangled,
my life is being dangled,
my direction crossword angled.
As I struggle in the mire,
my soul, it begins to tire,
Where is my desire,
to rage against the fire.
I am too young to die,
of this I do not lie,
I will not give up with a sigh,
and let the years idle by.
I feel utter despair,
lacking the ability to care,
gone is my will to share,
I seek, I seek, but know not where.
I am vulnerable,
to its tugging on my mortal soul,
my heart feels dark as coal,
I am broken, who once was whole.
Insignificant, alone, worthless.
There must be something on the other side,
Oh lord please provide,
And I shall not shall not slip,
though on a sinking ship,
and yet I will ride out this trip.
Useless, toiling, strangled,

How did I come to be in a world where I sit alone,
while in the company of others?
I cry myself to sleep,
burried under covers.
I can sob out loud,
without a care.
The sound cannot be heard,
by someone who is not there.
You know me,
I sit next to you.
We shop together,
yes its true.
You cannot see me,
though you look me in the eye.
I smile when I see you,
it is later that I sigh.
The smile on my face,
it is just a cover.
Never will you see,
never will you discover.
The sorrow is within me,
deeply rooted there.
Sadness, implanted,
coupled with dispair.
You tell me I am not worthy,
every single day.
Not directly,
but in your subtle way.
I am the one that is missing,
when you sit to eat.
When you come together,
I quickly retreat.
Alone I am safe,
with me I am sure.
You can actually help me,
there is a cure.
Reach deep inside you,
and pull out some love.
wrap it around me,
till it fits like a glove.
How can you help,
you ask?
When not knowing
who needs this task.
Wrap that love around all you see
There are many many more like me.
The love you share will fill my heart,
and then I can do my part.
I can share my love with others,
others who cry under covers.
Oh what a world it would be indeed,
if everyone shared with those in need.
So next time you share a smile,
know you have taken me a mile,
and though it wont happen for a while,
the world will open up to a whole new style.
Share your love with all your heart,
that is how you do your part.

Love, more than just a word
Love?
It is sad, yet true,
that our language has but one word to express Love.
I love you,
Is not just an expression that fits like a glove.
I like you,
I like you a lot!
I like you ever so much.
I like you, more than you can know.
I adore you,
I depend on you,
I feel like I am whole when I am with you,
You make me smile when I am sad, or glad.
Your laughter fills my heart.
Your voice can lift me up like no other,
I long to hear you, to see you, to touch you, to kiss you.
When we are apart I think of you often,
I long for your attention.
When I talk to others I speak often of you,
and think of you when I am alone.
You are my friend,
You are my best friend,
You are my heart,
You are my soul.
Without you it is me, not us,
and I like us, I like us a lot.
If ever I am in danger, your voice could dispel it.
If ever I am afraid, your hand in mine will give me strength.
you make all the difference in the world,
to me.
So assuming that is what you think of when you say it,
I love you,
It just sums it all up,
Lets seal it with a kiss!

How will they find their way?
As
You
Watch
Them grow,
Wishing for
progress to slow.
They push and push
to grow up fast, and as
They push you hold them fast.
Oh but if you could only reverse,
the flow of time, of aging like a curse.
To hold them back you know to be wrong,
to hold them close where they belong.
How hard it is to set them free,
though it fills them as you see.
Who will watch them when
they part, who will hold
their tender heart.
Your work is so
close to done,
They are now
solo, one.
I say good
bye to you,
My child,
I love
true.
