I know she is near,

My heart beats fast,
and I wish my time to last.

The smell of her hair,
reminds me she is there.

Her breath on my cheek,
the words I hear her speak.

The smile on her face,
the feel of her warm embrace.

Her laugh that lights my heart,
my desire to never part.

The taste of her sweet kiss,
that sends my mood to bliss.

This is how I know she is near.

You care

You wish to know whats in my head,
but how can I tell you when I do not know.
Give me time to clear my dread,
and in good time the path will show.

My mind is an ocean stirring,
a place where chaos rules.
Thoughts are randomly occurring
settling down into smaller pools.

Give me time to clear the air,
To ponder what may be.
Then and only then will I share,
where the current will take me.

Trust in me to be okay,
Know that I am strong.
I am wise and will find my way,
the journey will not be long.

I know you care enough to ask,
To wonder, worry and debate.
Alas, as I embark upon my task,
do you care enough to wait.
